2002 Othr Reunions

Reunion Date:
02/02/2002

February 2002– Bronco’s Leagues Club. A quite but most enjoyable night. Apologies were up and numbers on the night were down, probably because most had not recovered from the Christmas / New Year festivities and holidays. Attendees were Leo Freney, Graham McEnery, Jim Wheatley and Jim Kelly. The big news of the night was that Leo has quit smoking. Good on you Leo, stick at it.
April 2002 - Bronco’s Leagues Club A terrific night with Jim Wheatley, Peter Daniels (from Townsville), Leo Freney, Peter Palmer, Adrian Crowe, Jim Kelly, Dallas Graham, James Delahunty and Jim Barry. Robert Ingham- Myers said he was coming but forgot and went home to watch the footy - next time Robert.
Leo has still quit smoking. It must be the real thing this time. Congratulations Leo.
August 2002 - THE Southern Cross Club What a night. Dela gave the North siders a lift and we got a little lost on the way – thanks to all the back seat drivers. We had a good roll up: Leo Freney, Dallas Graham, Neil Gottardo, Dela, Jim, Wheatley, Peter Palmer and John Murray. Neil had a string of great jokes that kept coming all night. The club was bright and the food tasty but the band a little loud towards the end of the evening.
October 2002 -The Tatt's Luncheon A Lunch to try to remember. From around 11.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. for some but others had to drag themselves away earlier for meetings of serious import and consequence. Peter Siganto (by train from The Coast),  Kerry Roberts, Peter Palmer, Tony Walsh, Jim Kelly, Mick Purcell, Jim Wheatley, Greg O’Brien, Leo Freney, Paul Robinson, Peter Cooper, Jim Barry, James Delahunty, John Cloake, Dallas Graham, Graham McEnery, and Adrian Crowe. Bob Ingham-Myers and Thomas Hackett – almost came. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Mick Purcell selected the red and then excelled by negotiating a $6 per bottle discount with the Bar Manager. There were too many tales to recount but Leo kept us fascinated with forensics and DNA. Kerry Roberts and Jim Kelly declared it St Patrick’s Day and stayed with the Guinness.
