It was a great night as usual. We had many apologies from our punter classmates. You should have let us know it was the big race weekend so we could have had it on a more suitable weekend? A hot topic of discussion on the evening was that many will turn Three Score (60) this year and what about a joint party/ drinks to celebrate?? It is suggested we use our Christmas Reunion to celebrate your 60th with classmates.

Peter McMahon turned up late from a car club meeting and caught up with Leo & Jim having a rodie in Alfie’s Bar. Peter is a changed man. He sold the dairy for more than anticipated, moved into a 10-acre lot on the edge of town and is now building a Lotus kit sports car- 0 to 100km/h in 3 seconds.Dela kindly provided copies of news cuttings on the Nudgee and GPS footy this year that were circulated to e-mail Classmates. Although attendance was down this year it was a great event with comment that fewer numbers meant a more cordial event with everyone chatting. We finished around 6.00pm
October 04 NCOBA Annual Dinner: Was held at the College this year in the Refec. with a sumptuous seafood, prawns oysters, plus cold and hot meat buffet with red and white flowing freely. Fifty four in all attended with NC62 attendance: Jim & John Kelly Jim Wheatley. Peter Palmer Dallas Graham & Dela at the beginning (Son playing water polo at the College).
A feature of the night was the number of younger Old Boys present and the way the older and younger groups mixed together. A college bus provided a lift back to the city after the function. That was a great idea. The Old Boy’s web has photos and more comment.
