I have just made an enter Bank transfer as payment for 4 Bottles of Port which I'll collect at Chemist Shop and Margaret and my mixed reunion Dinner 26/12.2011.
We are leaving this week for New Zealand for 3 weeks coming home for the Dinner week. Margaret did Plumket in NZ and worked there for 18mths so that will bring back memories for her. My first visit. Seven Suratites are going over to Queenstown for a week and then M & I hire a car and look about
It was great to see the fellows I hadn't seen since 1962 at the Tatts reunion lunch. I went back to Dr after lunch and got A1 report on my heart echo stress test that morning
I hope you and Carmel have a good outcome with the shops. Unstable State and Federal Gov's is no good for business. We have to have changes to Fair Work but it will take time. I remember we used to send stock down to be killed at The Works and then after they arrived the union would strike. We would then have to feed stock at abattoirs. Stock would not settle or eat properly and you lose money.
I feel LNP will win Gov in Qld but some of our DIEHARD nationals will cause problems I feel. They still have that ONE NATION mentality.
